By Car
Coming from exit DD-Südvorstadt from all directions
- From motorway junction Dresden-West, change to Autobahn A 17 in the direction Pirna/Prag
- Take exit Dresden-Südvorstadt,
- Turn left into Bundesstrasse B 170 in the direction center (Zentrum),
- After ca. 3 km, turn right into Zeunerstrasse.
- Information about parking facilities will be given at the recption desk.
Coming from exit DD-Altstadt from the Southwest (A 4, A 14)
- On Autobahn A 4, take exit Dresden-Altstadt,
- Change to Bundesstrasse B 6 in the direction center (Zentrum) for ca. 4 km, after the railway underpass turn right into B 173 in the direction Central Station,
- After the Wiener Platz underpass, turn right in the direction Universität (university)
- Then turn left into Fritz-Löffler-Strasse (B 170) at the Central Station,
- Pass the Fritz-Förster-Platz crossing and turn left into Haeckelsstrasse at the next crossing.
- Access to the institute premises is located at the end of the street. Please announce yourself via the intercom system at the gate.
Coming from exit DD-Hellerau from the Northeast (A 13, A 4)
- On Autobahn A 4, take exit Dresden-Hellerau,
- Change to Bundesstrasse B 170 in the direction center (Zentrum),
- Follow the B 170 for ca. 10 km (Radeburger Str., Hansastr., Hainstr., Große Meißner Str., Köpckestr., Carolabrücke, Str. Petersburger Str., Hbf., Fritz-Löffler-Str., Fritz-Förster-Platz, Bergstr.),
- turn left into Haeckelsstrasse at the next crossing.
- Access to the institute premises is located at the end of the street. Please announce yourself via the intercom system at the gate.
By Train
- Leave the train at Dresden-Hauptbahnhof (main station).
- Take a taxi (ca. 2 km) or
- Ride the bus lines 66 (DVB), 352, 360 (RVD) for 3 stops in the direction university. Get off at Mommsenstrasse and walk from there (ca. 5 min)
By Plane
- At Dresden Airport, take a taxi or
- Take the S-Bahn train via Dresden-Neustadt to Hauptbahnhof (main station; approx. 22 min)
- Continue as described under heading 'by train'
