Electronic Fare Management System for Public Transport
With the system developed within the project it is possible for the first time to reliably record all public transport rides, to automatically calculate the ticket prices and to pay for them per invoice or an anonymus prepaid account. This is realized by detecting the riders' mobile phones or cards – the so-called »ALLFA Tickets« – by using the radio-based Be In/Be Out (BIBO) technology.
